The Greenpath Calculator is an example on an online Excel template that was developed for a leading company, Transurban Ltd, to help motorists and fleet operators to calculate the yearly fuel usage, costs and the GHG emissions from the operation of their vehicles. 

It demonstrates how well an online template can be used to be flexible and looked polished so it felt like an extension of the website. It was deliberately written as an .xls spreadsheet so it would work with any version of Excel. It was developed in early 2008.
